From Monday 16th January between 1pm and 3pm, Nicky Palmer will be running a 6 week Art Therapy Class here at the surgery.
Nicky is a patient at the practice. She was a high school teacher for 15 years. She suffers from Bipolar & PTSD. She has found success within the international art world and also locally through drawing, painting, along with indoor and outdoor murals in the local community. Nicky is passionate about empowering others, sharing skills, improving people's wellbeing and does so through a blend of creative art and her personal experience of mental and physical health problems.
We have the privilege of being able to display some of Nicky's work. They are all for sale via our receptionist and online at www.etsy.com/uk/shop/designsolutionslife

You may be aware from April 2016 all surgeries are required to provide their patients with a named GP who will have overall responsibility for the care and support that the surgery provides. This is intended to continue the patient care you already recieve from the practice.
Important: This does not mean that you must always see this doctor. You are free to choose to see any of the GPs at the surgery. Also your named GP may not always be available. You may need to see a different doctor if you are acutely ill. If this is the case, your continuity of care will not be affected
The practice is associated with the University of Leeds
